BIG ART 2025

26 - 28 September 2025
Overview
Booth 9C 12 11:00 – 18:00

At BIG ART, NewHouse Gallery presented captivating installations by @santiagopani and @sandrakejaplanken_noun, each inviting visitors into distinct yet interconnected worlds of reflection and imagination.

Santiago Pani’s sculptural works explored the space between myth and memory. His towering totems stood as silent storytellers — layered with symbols, ancestral echoes, and gestures that bridge past and present. Each piece carried a pulse of ancient ritual and dream, offering a meditation on identity, spirituality, and belonging.

Sandra Keja Planken transformed her setting into an aquatic dreamscape of woven tapestries, braided cords, and molten glass flowing like nature’s visual sound. Beneath its beauty lay a powerful message — a call to reflect on the fragility of our oceans and the corals we endanger. Her work is not only a vision of wonder but also a step toward transforming art into regeneration, as she aims to move the installation underwater to foster new coral growth.

Together, these installations embodied the spirit of BIG ART: large-scale, thought-provoking, and deeply human.
