This role is for someone who thrives on clarity, planning, and precision. You ensure that exhibitions, art fairs, and daily operations run seamlessly. • Lead the operational preparation and coordination of national and international art fairs, from timeline management to on-site readiness
• Manage inventory, archiving, consignments, and artwork documentation
• Prepare and maintain accurate client materials, pricing documents, and presentations
• Support (financial) administration in collaboration with the accountant
• Maintain structure across deadlines, follow-ups and internal processes
• Coordinate with artists, suppliers, and external partners

Profile

• Highly structured and detail-oriented
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Confident taking ownership and managing timelines independently
• Clear communicator, internally and externally
• Affinity with contemporary art and design
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Based in or near Amsterdam

Experience within a gallery, creative studio, or cultural institution is preferred but not required. Precision, reliability, and initiative are essential.

What we offer

• A key position within a growing contemporary gallery
• Direct collaboration with the founder
• Responsibility and room to shape internal systems
• Exposure to exhibitions and international art fairs
• Competitive salary based on experience
